Yarah Assembly has its origins in 2021, when Pastor Gunn received a vision for a teaching ministry called "Teachers Ignite and Yarah." At the time, this was only meant to be an equipping center for those who identify as teachers but the Lord had other plans. In 2023 The Lord told Pastor to begin the "Monday Night Bible Study" online. It grew from 2-3 persons to over 40-50 people. Many began asking for more teaching and community and from that the Lord gave the instructions to birth the Ignite Tribe Community. This was meant to be a mentorship program and supplemental community for believers. We prayed, laughed, learned and grew together. At its largest, Ignite became a community of over 120 people spanning several states and countries. The Lord through the people began to show a deeper need. In person encounters and spaces to grow. Many wanted to connect to the vision in yet a deeper way. After much prayer we launched in early 2024 Christ Kingdom Ignited Hub. The purpose was to be fully virtual, and fully supplemental. Many began to call Christ Kingdom Hub home and the Lord brought back that initial vision of Yarah; a place where people are home, and can truly grow. In the summer of 2024 at the direction of the Lord, Christ Kingdom shed its old identity and the people voted to transition into Yarah Assembly.

We believe in two scriptures for the Carolinas, Mathew 28:19 and Acts 3:6.

We believe the Lord's hands are on the Carolinas region and we are excited to be apart of it.

We want to create strong demonstrative atmosphere's for families, singles, 5 fold gifts, and lay members.

We want to build genuine 21st Century model gathering's using Social Media, Hybrid via Zoom, and in person via local assemblies and intensive to equip the total man and provide community to all believers.
Our Senior Leader
Richard Gunn is a Cleveland Oh native, who has over 10 years in ministry. His background is in Baptist doctrine, and that foundation has governed his delivery of Christ gospel though there are some new flares. At the age of 16 Pastor Gunn received the call to preach the gospel at Second Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church where during one service after weeks of asking God for more of his spirit, Pastor Gunn received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Though Pastor Gunn believes in the fullness of Christ's spiritual gifts in his church, he believes in strong teaching, equipping and wisdom. He believes in following the bible and the Lord has championed a strong and respected teaching ministry through him. Pastor Gunn has traveled many places, and has governed at all levels of Pastoral leadership.
